A contractor checked out the ceiling damage back in our house in Connecicut, and he does not think the black stains are mold! Yippee! He is working up an estimate for us, and may be able to expedite the repairs, maybe before we get home! All Steve would have to do is paint!
We had anticipated Steve doing the repairs himself, but the thought of it being all done before we get home sounds marvelous! We may just be staying in Western North Carolina for a bit longer?!?

May get a lot of melting over the next few days -- rain and 50's. I'd stay away.

I'm just not understanding why, though. Wouldn't it be better to be here to oversee the repairs? Just failing to see the necessesity in "staying away", especially since you're in a house on wheels anyway.
It is probably going to be too cold to stay in the rig at night once we get to CT.
Right now we are leaning toward coming home and Steve doing the repair himself, but it all depends on the estimate.
